Service
This session is designed to assess your dog, understand your current challenges, and put clear structure in place from the outset. We begin working on the most relevant areas immediately, while also building a plan tailored to your dog, your goals, and your environment.
You’ll leave the session with a clear understanding of what your dog needs, how to move forward, and which level of training is most appropriate, whether that’s progression sessions or one of the structured programmes.
This is not just an assessment. It’s the foundation for everything that follows.
What’s included:
Full assessment of your dog and current behaviour
Initial practical training and guidance
Clear, tailored plan moving forward
Recommendation of the most suitable training pathway
In-person sessions run on set days depending on location: Tuesdays and Sundays in Hull, and Thursdays and Saturdays in Lincolnshire. Please ensure you book the appropriate day for your location.
Delivered over 6 weeks, this programme focuses on building engagement, introducing clear communication, and establishing consistent boundaries from the outset. The aim is to guide your puppy in the right direction early, preventing common issues rather than correcting them later.
A key part of this programme is appropriate socialisation. Rather than overwhelming your puppy or encouraging uncontrolled interactions, you’ll learn how to expose them to the world in a calm, structured way that builds confidence and stability.
You’ll also be guided on how to avoid common mistakes that often lead to problems later on, giving you the knowledge and confidence to handle your puppy correctly as they develop.
Sessions are adapted to suit your puppy’s age and attention span, with a strong focus on what to implement between sessions to ensure consistent progress.
What’s included:
6 x in-person sessions
Ongoing WhatsApp support
Structured training plan and guidance between sessions
Suitable for puppies up to 6 months of age. Book your consultation to get started.
This programme is suited to dogs showing lower-level reactivity, mild anxiety, or inconsistent behaviour at home and out on walks. We focus on building engagement, improving reliability, and developing key behaviours such as recall, calm responses around distractions, and consistent behaviour both at home and out on walks.
Delivered across five structured sessions, this programme goes beyond in-person training. You’ll be guided on exactly what to work on between sessions, with structured exercises designed to build consistency and real progress.
Ongoing support is provided throughout via WhatsApp, allowing for video feedback, guidance, and adjustments as you implement the training in real-life situations. This ensures you’re not left guessing between sessions and helps keep progress moving forward.
The aim is not just short-term improvement, but creating clarity and consistency that carries through into daily life.
A consultation is required prior to starting. This ensures the programme is appropriate for your dog and allows the right structure to be put in place from the outset.
Delivered over 8 weeks, this programme focuses on creating lasting change through clear communication, structured training, and consistent guidance. We work to break existing patterns, build more appropriate behaviours, and give your dog the clarity needed to respond differently in everyday situations.
This is a supported process, not just in-person training. You will be given clear, structured work to complete between sessions, ensuring progress continues outside of training.
Ongoing support is provided via WhatsApp, allowing for video feedback, guidance, and adjustments throughout. Virtual coaching sessions are also included to support dogs or handlers who may find certain scenarios more challenging.
What’s included:
8 x in-person 1:1 sessions
2 x virtual 1:1 sessions
2 months WhatsApp support
Structured work between sessions
A consultation is required prior to starting to ensure the right approach is in place.
Delivered over 8 weeks, this programme combines in-person training, virtual coaching, and ongoing support to ensure you and your dog make real, lasting progress.
We focus on building clear lead understanding, improving engagement, and establishing a reliable heel position that holds up in real-world environments. Alongside this, you’ll develop the handling skills needed to maintain structure and consistency outside of sessions.
This is not about short-term or quick fixes, it’s about giving both you and your dog the clarity and understanding needed for long-term results.
What’s included:
6 x in-person 1:1 training sessions
2 x 30-minute virtual coaching sessions
Ongoing WhatsApp support for feedback and guidance throughout
A consultation is required prior to starting. This ensures your dog is suitable for the programme and allows everything to be set up correctly from the beginning.
This programme is ideal for dogs that pull on the lead or lack structure on walks. For more complex behavioural issues, a more tailored approach will be recommended.
Please ensure you book your consultation to proceed with this package.
These sessions focus on developing consistency, improving reliability, and progressing your dog’s training in a structured and practical way. Whether you’re refining obedience, improving engagement, or working through specific challenges, each session is tailored to where you and your dog currently are.
The aim is not just to repeat exercises, but to advance them by adding clarity, accountability, and real-world application so behaviours hold up outside of training.
These sessions are best suited to clients who have already completed a consultation or are continuing on from a structured programme.
In-person sessions run on set days depending on location: Tuesdays and Sundays in Hull, and Thursdays and Saturdays in Lincolnshire. Please ensure you book the appropriate day for your location.
These sessions are suitable for both existing clients and those based further away who are unable to travel. We focus on understanding your current challenges, refining your approach, and giving you clear, practical steps to implement with your dog.
You’ll receive structured guidance, honest feedback, and direction based on your dog’s behaviour and your goals, allowing you to move forward with more clarity and confidence.
For those looking to travel for in-person training, virtual sessions can also be used as a starting point to ensure you are set up correctly before attending.
Your dog will spend 6 hours of dedicated time working 1:1, allowing behaviours to be built, refined, and progressed in a consistent environment. This can be particularly useful for building engagement, improving clarity, or moving training forward more efficiently than standard sessions.
These days are typically recommended as part of a wider training plan rather than as a standalone service.
Please note: A consultation is required prior to booking. This ensures your dog is suitable and allows the day to be structured appropriately.
Each day provides focused 1:1 work, allowing behaviours to be introduced, developed, and progressed in a way that is often difficult to achieve through standard sessions alone. This is particularly beneficial for building engagement, improving clarity, and creating momentum with your dog’s training.
This package is most effective when used alongside a wider training plan, ensuring the work carried out during the day transfers effectively into everyday life.
At the end of each day, guidance will be provided on how to continue and maintain progress moving forward.
Please note: This package is only available following a consultation. This ensures suitability and allows each day to be structured appropriately for your dog.
Delivered across multiple structured days, this package allows for significant progress to be made by building behaviours step-by-step, reinforcing them consistently, and creating a higher level of clarity and understanding for your dog.
This option is particularly suited to dogs needing more time to develop engagement, improve reliability, or work through more established training challenges. The extended format allows for greater progression than can typically be achieved through individual sessions alone.
Each day consists of focused 1:1 training, with clear guidance provided on how to maintain and continue progress between and after the training days.
Please note: This package is only available following a consultation. This ensures suitability and allows each day to be structured appropriately based on your dog’s needs.
The focus is on refining behaviours, improving responsiveness under distraction, and creating a dog that works with clarity, focus, and intent. A key part of this is developing a powerful, focused heel — where your dog is engaged, responsive, and actively choosing to work with you.
This training is not about shutting the dog down for the sake of control. Instead, the aim is to build power and precision while maintaining enthusiasm, energy, and expression in the work. The result is a dog that looks engaged, confident, and driven, while still being reliable and consistent.
Through clear communication and structured training, you’ll develop a stronger working relationship, allowing your dog to perform with both accuracy and attitude.
Training is tailored to each dog and handler, whether your goal is to improve performance, build engagement, or progress towards sport or more advanced training.
Best suited to dogs with an existing level of training who are ready to move beyond the basics.
If you’re unsure whether this is the right fit for you and your dog, feel free to get in touch before booking.
In-person sessions run on set days depending on location: Tuesdays and Sundays in Hull, and Thursdays and Saturdays in Lincolnshire. Please ensure you book the appropriate day for your location.
This includes disciplines such as urban trailing, tracking, and scent detection. Training is tailored to the individual dog, focusing on building motivation, clear indication, and the ability to work independently while staying connected to the handler.
Beyond the practical skills, search work is a powerful way to strengthen your relationship with your dog. By working together in a structured and purposeful way, you develop clearer communication, increased trust, and a more engaged, focused dog.
Search work provides both mental and physical stimulation, making it highly rewarding while giving you a clear outlet for your dog’s energy and drive. Suitable for complete beginners looking to introduce their dog to search work, as well as those wanting to progress and develop more advanced skills.

About
At VIPK9, training is built around helping you and your dog work together effectively in real-life situations.
The focus is on clear communication, strong engagement, and reducing unnecessary conflict so your dog has the clarity to think, learn, and respond when it matters.
Training develops both dog and handler, building problem-solving, real-time decision-making, and clarity on both ends of the lead.
Programmes are tailored to the individual, from pet and sport dogs to working roles. This includes advanced obedience, behaviour modification, and where required, the application of tactical principles to create reliable, functional outcomes.
For those in the private sector or progressing dogs toward operational roles, training can be adapted into structured programmes to meet specific demands.
No two dogs or handlers are the same. Everything is built around you, your dog, and your end goal.

We reached out as Nala became reactive whilst on the lead, the difference in her is amazing and she’s only 5 sessions s in. Nala loves her training days with Angie ☺️

We had our 1st session today with Angie. It was great! Kaeman loved it and has come away shattered.
Angie made us feel relaxed from the start and explained everything as we went through the session.
Looking forward to next time. - marcin·
great day, I am happy, I highly recommend Angie. She can explain well how to understand the dog, make some corrections, we are on the right track to teach the dog to focus on the handler. I recommend this person

I enrolled my Cocker Spaniel, Lulu, with Angie for a week of half-day sessions to work on lead training, recall, and general obedience. Even from the first day, I noticed small improvements with Lulu starting to understand lead pressure. By the end of the week, she was walking beautifully on the lead and had a solid grasp of where to walk. I’m really impressed with the progress and will definitely be booking more sessions. Highly recommended!
